“Enough with all this chit-chat, Grant, come fuck me,” I say as I pull him into the room.

“Always, my Bossy Girl!” He does as he’s told, and he does it quick. He doesn’t remove a shred of my clothing. Picking me up swiftly, he lays me across the bed and heads back to the door to lock it. Walking back from the door, he unzips his pants. Once he reaches me, he turns me over and pushes my shoulders down on the bed.

He enters me with force and pounds quickly. It feels so sexy for him to be so dominant. It takes him a moment to regain control of himself to give me steady thrusts. I am now able to rock back and forth on my knees to meet him. My skirt is pushed up high on my waist, with my breasts spilling out of my corset. Grant’s hands are firm on my hips pulling me back and forth. I love when he pulls all the way out letting me feel his entire length.

Slowing his motions, I feel his cock grow larger. I feel the walls of my pussy contract onto him as my orgasm comes over me in a pulsating wave. It literally starts in my toes and moves through my entire body all the way up to my head. He slows down just enough to let me catch my breath, but does not stop thrusting , making it that much better.

After passionately rolling around in the bed for a few minutes, I’m able to get on top of him, and I brace my arms on the headboard behind his head. His green eyes stare up at me. Using the headboard for support, I ride him with force and depth. I am so wet, my slickness allows my clit to rub on his pelvis. I feel my orgasm coming again so soon, and I want Grant to come with me. “Do you like my soaking wet pussy on you? Do you want me to fuck you harder?” He gets so turned on by dirty talk, and right on cue, we both come together with fireworks. I ride him slowly until I no longer feel him pulsating inside of me. I collapse on top of him as he wraps his arms around me, flipping us over and devouring me in kisses.

REVIEW
Devastated by Monica May is a great story  of when a life is tuned upside down and trying  to get everything back the way it use to be. Shelby finds something on her husband Grant's phone that leaves her wondering if 20 years of marriage is worth saving. As they navigate back to a place they both want to be, they need to figure out how to make things right.  Devastated wonderfully shows a couple looking back at the time the spent together, as well ass what the future may entail for them. It also shows if they are willing to shake things ups.  Monica May does a great job with the fast paced story about Shelby and Grant as they discover the love and passion that hopefully remains after a shocking discovery. Devastated is a book you'll definitely need to add to your TBR.

“That has never happened to me before,” I whisper. “What are you doing to me, Jackson?” I grin up at him.

“About to make love to you,” he says, pulling the belt around my waist releasing my dress. It slides down my newly shaven legs pooling at my feet. “If that is a new feeling to you, I have a lot of catching up to do, babe.”

You will have to wait your turn for show and tell, handsome.” Dropping to my knees, I pull the string on his pants releasing them to find their place in a pool across from my dress. My eyes have to be as big as saucers right now. First of all, he is commando, yep, nothing under those sexy pants of his but his pure hot muscles of steel. Secondly and most importantly, I’m taken by his size. He’s a very large man standing at 6’3” with the most beautiful penis I have ever seen. I know, ladies, they’re not really pretty, but you haven’t seen this one. It’s long and thick with a perfectly round head. I stare at it in amazement watching it jerk under my gaze.

“You’re killing me up here. Snap out of the daydream, darling.”

I look up at him from under my eyelashes slowly taking him into my mouth and placing one hand at his shaft not sure I’ll be able to take all of him. But I’m sure as hell going to try. I hear him groan as I open a little wider to let him go deeper working his shaft with my other hand. I slowly pull away licking his slit gently while massaging his balls.

“Fuck, Sunny, you have to slow down or I’m gonna lose my shit here.”

I ignore his plea taking him in again and sucking hard while pulling away. The sense of power I feel right now is so exhilarating, I feel the wetness increasing. When I feel his balls tighten, I know I’m almost home free. But before I take him down again, his large arms are under mine pulling me into his. I wrap my legs around his waist pressing my heels into his firm ass while he walks to the sofa.

“I can’t wait another damn minute, Sunny, I need to be inside of you like yesterday.”

“Then what are you waiting for? Jackson, I’m so wet for you.”

REVIEW
Hidden by Monica May is a fantastic read about second chances and starting over. There's two stories in Hidden, the first being Samantha, who after losing her husband, decides to focus all her energy on recreating the erotic club her great aunt had. As she is getting the location and employees in order, Shelby, Samantha's friend tells her about a woman she wants her to hire that she met at the battered women's shelter. It is at this point in the story that we meet Sunny. Sunny never imagined that her life would end up the way it it. When an opportunity to make a fresh break comes, Sunny takes it and tries to not looks back. As this story unfolds Samantha and Sunny, both meet two men, Parke and Jackson, who are not initially part of the plan for Samantha and Sunny, but they may be just what they are looking for.

Monica May delivers a story that is worth reading. I loved seeing how the story unfolded for Samantha and Sunny. There's suspense, sex, some comedy, twists, and romance set against the back drop of New Orleans and a sex club that perfectly sets up this book. Monica May grabs your attention from the first page and keeps you invested in the story. She has written characters that are complex and fun, making you want to know as much about them as possible. Even though this is the second book in The New Orleans Temptation Series, you don't necessarily have to read the first book in order to enjoy Hidden. In fact, it just wants to make you read the first book even more and eager to see what comes next in this series.

Author Spotlight Angela Schroeder #FosterAnAuthor

The Jazzy World of E's Bookshelf has has been spotlighting author Angela Schroeder all week as part of the #FosterAnAuthor week. I also ways like knowing more about the author and their writing process. I had a chance to interview Angela, and got to know a little more about her, her books, and what we can expect to see from her next. If you haven't had a chance yet, it's time to meet Angela Schroeder.

Angela Schroeder's Biography

Angela Schroeder is a single mother of three. She was born and raised in Iowa in a river town known for its pearl buttons. Having four siblings, she never lacked for someone to play with.

As she grew older, she found herself pulled into books and writing more and more. Her parents are her heroes, her siblings her confidants and tormentors, and her children are a wonderful blessing.

Church is important to her children and her. They enjoy the friendships they’ve made with the people there.

Writing has always been a passion. Her first experience was in fifth grade when she went to a one-day writing conference. After that she knew it was something she wanted to pursue.

An Interview with Angela Schroeder

Thanks for taking the time to interview.  I read that for you the love of writing started in 5th grade after you went to a writing conference. What was it about that particular moment that made you think this is what I want to do?
I got to make my own “book” while I was there. My parents still have it somewhere. I remember coming home, going to the desk, picking up a pen to put a story into that book I made while there.
You’re an author that is not limited to one style of writing.  The books you have written and released range from a contemporary romance, to young adult science fiction to a children's book. Are there other genres you want to branch out in that you haven’t written yet?
I am currently researching for a historical. I’m working on a story set around WWI.

Where do you find inspiration for your books?
Everywhere. Love Overcomes was inspired by a conversation of “what if” with my sister. The Second Life of Magnolia Mae was inspired by a short story I had written in high school. Jade came about because my daughter likes fairy tale retellings, she wanted one based of Rapunzel. Christmas at the Zoo came about because my youngest wanted to know why someone said “Happy birthday Jesus.” around Christmas.

I am working on one story that was inspired from an old photograph, another from my brother who came up with an idea and asked me to turn it into a story.

There are stories everywhere, waiting for someone to write them down.

Who are some of your favorite authors?
My all time favorites are Jane Austen, Charles Dickens, Laura Ingalls Wilder (her books are the first I remember reading over and over), and Shakespeare. Then there are my new favorites. When these authors put out a new release I make sure to grab a copy: Kelly Martin, J.L. Salter, Wendy Knight, and Heather Gray.

What is your go to book not written by you?
I find myself going back to Jane Austen’s books, I have all of them.

Of your books do you have a favorite among them?
They’re all so different, I think it is hard to have a favorite. I have read my children’s book the most. Christmas at the Zoo, my youngest child and my nephew keep asking me to read it to them. That is the one that gets used the most.

Do you have a writing process that you follow for each book?
No, I don’t plan. I do not follow a routine. I tried to do that and it felt too structured, I didn’t like it. As close to a process as I get is finding music that puts me in the mood I want to write then writing. I listened to a lot of Celtic music while writing Magnolia.

What would you say is your favorite part of being an author?
I love getting to tell stories. For as long as I can remember that has been something I wanted to do. It is also nice getting to talk to people about my books.

Do you have a least favorite part?
Marketing. It is hard to market your book, I would rather pay someone else to so that.

Social media is a big part of being an Indie author, how do you like being able to getting almost instant feedback and communicating with readers?

I really enjoy this part of being an author. I have had a few aspiring writers ask for guidance. That has been fun, I enjoy helping people. I have made some great friends through social media and it all started with us connecting over a book.

If a reader is new to your work what book would you suggest they read first?
I think I would ask what they like to read before suggesting something. The YA readers might not care for Love Overcomes since that is about a single mom.
For the YA readers I would suggest The Second Life of Magnolia Mae since it is a stand-alone. Jade is the first in a series and I’m still writing the second book.

What can readers expect to see from you next?
Book 2 of the Out of the Ashes series.
I’m also working on a YA fantasy story that I’ve not titled yet.
I’m researching a WWI story, well it is set in that time period.
I’ve written several children’s stories that are waiting on illustrations but since my illustrator is in 7th grade that is on hold until he gets some free time from school work.

Is there anything you would like to say to your fans or readers new to you before you go?

I really want to say thank you for taking a chance and reading my stories. Also, feel free to message me. I’ve had a reader message about Jade’s ending. I like talking to readers.

Blog Tour & Review: Cherished By You by Steph Nuss

Title: Cherished by You (Love in the City #4)
Author: Steph Nuss
Release Date: Oct 7, 2015
Find on Goodreads
“Move in with me,” he said.

Being cherished is how Tessa Wilder always imagined falling in love. But for years, she’s always gone for the wrong guys. Now that she’s fallen for one of the good ones, she fears rejection.

“I can’t,” she replied.

Justin Jameson quit looking for a woman after being used so many times for his brains. A bit of an introvert and completely oblivious to women’s advances, he can’t even see that his friend cherishes everything about him.

When Tessa needs a place to stay, Justin’s the first to offer her a room. Hearts are opened; feelings are ventured. They’ll finally know what it’s like to be cherished in the city until one moment threatens the relationship they’ve built.

“I can’t lose you.”
“I can’t believe you agreed to live with a woman,” Cash said, sitting down on the couch in my living room with a beer in his hand.
It was Saturday afternoon, and most of the gang was over at my place, waiting for Tessa and her brother to arrive so we could help move all of her stuff in. Maverick and Harper were at home with their baby girl, Seghen, and Paige had a work function with a client.
I really couldn’t believe it either. I’d never had a roommate before who wasn’t some sort of family member, but I knew I didn’t want Tessa living in some dilapidated hole in Grand Concourse again. Just hearing her talk about growing up there pissed me off.
“Living with a woman isn’t so bad,” Carter stated proudly, with his arm slung over Elly’s shoulder. “They make the place smell good. They’re nice to look at.”
“They cook,” Fletcher added, rubbing Bayler’s thigh. They weren’t living together yet, but they stayed together enough that he enjoyed the benefits of Bayler’s excellent cooking skills.
“Not all of them cook,” Carter retorted, nodding his head toward his wife.
“Hey!” Elly exclaimed, smacking him in the stomach. “I’m cooking your baby right now.”
The room filled with laughter as I paced over to the window and looked down at the sidewalk. I was nervous because I wasn’t sure whether or not Tessa would like living with me. I’d had the place cleaned twice this week in anticipation of her arrival.
“But Tessa loves cooking,” Elly continued, smiling up at me. “You can finally stop eating out every night.”
I scoffed, glancing over my shoulder at her. “I don’t eat out every night.”
Bayler laughed. “All you have in your fridge are takeout boxes and condiments.”
“And beer!” Carter said, clinking his bottle with Fletcher’s.
“Ladies,” Fletcher stated, shaking his head at the women. “Jameson has the necessities. Lay off him.”
“Tessa is going to freak when she sees the fridge,” Elly said, laughing along with Bayler.
I turned to face the gang as anxiety tumbled in my stomach. “What do you mean? Why would she freak out?”
“Because Tessa enjoys cooking,” Bayler explained.
“Yeah,” Elly said, nodding. “She’s used to having a stocked kitchen, especially since she’s cooked for her and her brother most of her life.”
Now I felt bad about not going grocery shopping. The truth was, I did order takeout often, only because it was easier than attempting to cook a meal. I’d grown up with either a maid cooking for me or my grandma, but no matter how many times Janice Jameson tried to teach me how to cook, the meal never turned out the way she made it.
“You guys can go grocery shopping later,” Cash said, running through the television channels. “That way she can pick out whatever the hell she wants.”
“Maybe she’ll even teach you how to cook,” Elly teased, nudging my arm.
“Yeah,” Bayler continued, pointing her beer bottle at me. “Every guy should know how to cook. Women love a home-cooked meal they don’t have to make themselves.”
“I’m not trying to find a woman,” I stated, furrowing my brows.
The gang laughed at my candid response, despite the fact that it was true. I’d practically given up on finding a good woman during my college years. The girls I seemed to attract back then only wanted my help passing a class. The only date I’d been on since was a few years ago when my grandma set me up with her neighbor, Elly. The chemistry wasn’t there, so we became friends instead, which was perfectly fine with me. She was still in love with Carter, and I’d been a loner most of my life. When Carter moved back to New York, he and Elly started dating, and I gained another friend. Our group of friends continued to grow after that with the addition of Carter’s sisters, Harper and Bayler, falling for two of our own, Maverick and Fletcher.
“I call bullshit, Justin,” Bayler exclaimed, rolling her eyes. She leaned into Fletcher’s side and rested her feet up on the coffee table.
The laughter quickly died down at her blunt retort.
“Excuse me?” I asked, deflecting my surprise.
“All men are predisposed to think with their penises,” she explained, entertaining everyone with her words. “I don’t care how much of a genius you are; you’re still a man, which means that brain of yours down south is focused on sex just like every other man’s.”
Laughter grew louder around me as I stared her down, the smile spreading wide across my face. We got a kick out of giving each other a hard time, and I enjoyed dishing it out just as much as everyone else. Leaning down next to her ear, I said, “No, Bayler, what I meant was, I don’t have to try to find a woman.”
She nearly spit out her beer as she smacked me on the arm and laughed. “See! Just like every other guy! I knew you had a dick in there somewhere, Jameson.”
“Is this the part where I tell you I know how to use it, too?” I asked sarcastically, laughing along with her.
A knock on the door sounded before she could reply, so I walked over to answer it. Opening the door, I found Tessa and a younger guy standing behind her, with three suitcases resting at their sides and a duffle bag slung across his body. She wore an old pair of ripped jeans and a hoodie. Her long brown hair was knotted on top of her head, but it was her light blue-gray eyes smiling back at me that caught my attention the most.
“Hey,” I said, grabbing one of the rollers. “Come on in.”
“Thanks,” she said, crossing the threshold into my apartment.

REVIEW
If there was one story I was waiting for in the love in the City Series, it was Tessa Wilder and Justin Jameson's story. It was worth the wait. Tessa has always felt less than her other friends in the series. They loved her and she loved them but where they had success and education she felt a little lacking. Justin Jameson is noting short of a genius who happens to be a little introverted.  He misses when woman flirts with him and is happily living in his bachelor existence, with his set ways.  When he find out his friend Tessa needs a place to move to he offers her the spare room in his apartment. When the friendship turns to more feelings Tessa and Justin's eyes are open to a new possibility but life takes over. Will they be able to find there happiness, pick up Cherished by You and find out.

Of all the Men in this series, I have to say Justin is my favorite. I love the super smart man, with his quirks and slightly oblivious ways of the opposite sex. But when we get a closer glimpse of Justin through Tessa, it's like a Pandora's box opening to this great character. Tessa is is an amazing character, who is always there for her friends. To see her finally go after what she wants, makes this easily my favorite story. There is just something about there story that is so wonderful, i feel like I'm watching a new romantic comedy that I want to see over and over again.  Steph Nuss continues to show why she's an author you have to read. She gives you stories that you can't help but fall in love with every single time. Don't miss Cherished By You, you'll want to know what's in store for Justin and Tessa.
