Synopsis

SAMANTHA (SAM)

The only man I've ever loved stepped aside and let me go 15 years ago because I wanted to start a family. After moving as far away from him as possible, I now must return home for my mother's funeral. The problem with going home is I'm single and I'm still deeply in love with Otis. Seeing him and not acting on my feelings would be impossible, so my plan is to slip into town, take care of my deceased mother's affairs, and slip out unnoticed.

One drink should settle my nerves...

OTIS

I'm the 6'-5" tattooed bad-ass that protects my 32 brothers in the Selected Sinners MC. An undercover ATF agent has infiltrated our MC and threatens the security of our club. Determining which of my brothers is the snitch and undoubtedly destined for his grave is my only focus. My only current love is the MC - I let the only woman I've ever loved other than my mother slip away when I was 21 because I young and selfish. I'm 36 now, single, and plan on staying that way.

Not finding the snitch is driving me insane, I need a drink...

One unscheduled moment between Otis and Sam could prove disastrous.

Or, it could rekindle a flame that has always been flickering - a second chance at a first love...

"Being inseparable doesn't define true love. Being separated and having nothing change between you, however, does."

AUTHORS NOTE: OTIS is a stand-alone MC Erotic Romance with no cheating, no sharing partners, and a HEA. Be forewarned, the main characters in this book are both agoraphiliacs. They enjoy sex in public places, especially if they think someone's watching. OTIS is Book III in a series of true stand-alone MC Romance novels. No other book is required to enjoy this tale. The two previous book may be read as stand-alones or together fully understand the complexity of the ancillary characters.

Jazzy World of E's Bookshelf Review
Otis by Scott Hildreth and this is by far my favorite of the series. I was always intrigued by Otis in the previous two books. He is this strong man who observes and takes charge of things around him.  He is a confidant to his close friends. I was excited to read a book all about him and it does not disappoint. Otis is a loyal and loving person, not what you initially expect from a mountain of a biker man. This is what makes him so interesting. He still attends Sunday dinners at his parents' house and will help his friends no matter what. Though his life is the club, he starts to feel something is missing after seeing his best friends happy with the women they love. When fate brings back the only woman he ever loved, Sam, back into his life things will change for both of them. After being apart can they pick up where they left off? You just need to read it to find out. I will say this, the scenes between these two are some of the sexiest and hottest I've ever read. You see this incredibly primal side of Otis with Sam that leaves you wanting more.

Otis is a knockout of a story. I was so entranced by it and couldn't put it down. Scott Hidlreth knows how to write great stories with complex characters that will always surprise you. His writing keeps you devouring every since page to see what happens next. There's a reason why readers are eager for the next book in this series. Otis proves it again. He has you on edge at times, laughing the next, makes you blush a little, and leaves you shocked by the turn of events. If you love MC stories, read Otis. If you've never read one at all, seriously give this book a shot, you'll be happy you did and probably fall in love with Otis.

Synopsis
Stand-Alone, HEA, No cheating. Selected Sinners MC Romance Book II.
After serving half a dozen tours in Afghanistan and Iraq as a US Marine, Cambio Todelli - known as Toad to his MC brothers - is left with a penchant for violence and no emotional attachment between his heart and his groin.

As the Sergeant at Arms for the Selected Sinners, Toad has one assignment and he takes it very seriously. Keeping his Brothers safe from harm at any cost.

Although he believes he ultimately stands for what is moral and justified, he admits sometimes the lines simply become blurred. In short, Toad is a walking contradiction. The descendant of a long line of prideful Italian American US Marines, he is now living a far cry from his upbringing in the Catholic church.

Sydney Shephard is an orphan, and has recently lost her only sibling, an older brother, to a lifelong prison sentence. After losing her job, she is now homeless, penniless, and without any form of family or friend.

As easy as it may be to do so, she refuses to lose her spirit, her spunk, or her sense of humor.

After having been in multiple abusive relationships in her past, Sydney has vowed to either live a life of solitude, or find a man who will treat her as an equal.

When a bank robbery goes awry, leaving Toad on one side of the bank, and Sydney on the other, Toad must make a decision and make it quick.

And when Toad decides to do something, heaven help anyone who tries to stop him.

About Scott

What I like:

My wife. Riding my Harley-Davidson everywhere I go. Making a difference. Books that make me cross my legs so I don't pee when I really need to - but hate to walk away from the book (I'm weird about objects in the bathroom). Bracelets. Oh, and I have a WEAKNESS for watches. Noodles. My kids. Writing a story of absolute freaking lies and having people pay to read it. Cats. Great E-cig flavors. Watching drunk people be idiotic. Coffee. Driving long distances. Throwing random shit at public trash receptacles. Going to the movies. Remote Islands. Ratty-assed tee shirts. Seeing people smile. Love. Giving shit away as long as it's not money. The nanosecond before I fall asleep. Family. Coffee. Hummus. Being tattooed. Eating various spicy foods. Looking over the edge of a very high object. The thought of jumping off of aforementioned very high object and bouncing back up (but I'm not made of rubber, so I wont jump). SHOPPING. Weighing myself. Reading a review and having said reviewer say my book made them think. Watching people ride roller coasters. Old sneakers. Coffee.

And.

Carving pumpkins into jack-o-lanterns.

Dislikes:

Body hair. Clowns. Cable TV. Flying in airplanes. People who aren't able to express their TRUE feelings in a manner other than screaming. Drugs. Screaming. People who hate. People who categorize all others based on "x". New shoes. Huge crowds. Car keys in my pockets. Dog shit on my shoes. Roller coasters. Riding in a car. People who are cruel to animals, kids, and the elderly. My eyebrows. Alcohol. Television. Eating fish with skin on one side.

Keeping up with Scott
