Big Game: A Hunted Love #1

Synopsis:
When a legendary predator decides prize horses should be on his menu, Kate takes the advice of her neighbor ranchers and hires a big game hunter to track the mountain lion and remove the threat. The hunter arrives to take up the trail, but instead of the seasoned older man she expects, he's young and impossibly sexy.
Freshly back from deployment to Afghanistan as a special forces operative, Jakob needs to clear his head of the horrors of war. When his uncle is dies, Jakob steps in to fulfill the older man's commitment to hunt down a mountain lion on the other side of the state. The prospect of several days in the wilderness with only his horses and dogs for company sounds like the ideal opportunity. Except the infuriating female rancher insists on going along for the ride.

Review
Big Game: Hunted Love #1 is a book that needs to be on your TBR list. It is a quick read that you are not going to  want to put down for one minute. Kate runs a horse ranch and when a mountain lion starts killing her horses, she needs to call a hunter. This is where we meet Jakob, a solider who has just returned from Afghanistan. What happens when these two come together is a attraction that jumps off the page, making it one story you don't want to miss.

Aden Lowe hit it out of the park with his debut novel. He has written a fantastic romance story with two characters that you are easily invested in and want to know more about. They each have their own issues which I think just makes you as the reader love them more. I was a  little sad when I finished it, because I wanted more Kate and Jakob. I know I'll be reading this one again. You know a author is doing something right when he makes you want to read his book again. I haven't read much in the cowboy genre, but after reading Big Game: Hunted Love #1, I'll definitely be looking for more.  I can't wait to read the next books in this series, and see what Aden Lowe comes up with next.

Bounty: Hunted Love #2

Synopsis:
Bounty hunter, Falon Harris is asked to go after outlaw biker Tom Kellen and tracks him to where he's hiding out in Stags Leap, KY, laying low and waiting for the heat to pass. Rita James operates a busy tavern/grill and occasionally rents out the little camper trailer on her back lot. Figuring the tavern is the most logical place to watch for Kellen, Falon rents the trailer for a week. The first night, while he's having dinner and watching everything, Kellen shows up and starts giving Rita a hard time. The bartender puts a stop to it, but Falon gets the idea it's happened before. Knowing Kellen's past, he knows the biker won't take no for an answer for long.

Review

After reading Big Game: Hunted Love #1, the first book in this series from Aden Lowe,  I was excited to read, Bounty: Hunted Love #2.  Lowe delivers again with the second book in his series.  He has given us two new characters, Falon and Rita, to fall in love with. Falon is a man who uses his job as a bounty hunter to escape his past. Rita, a strong woman who has dealt with a lot and survived. When their paths cross dealing with the same person, you have a story that will keep you on the edge of your seat.

Aden Lowe proves yet again that he is an author you should know. Bounty: Hunted Love #2 showcases what he has to offer. Again, he delivers two more great characters in Rita and Falon. The atrraction between them is hot. I loved Kate and Jakob, from the first book in this series, but Rita and Falon give them a run for their money. Aden writes them so well you can't help but want more. Bounty is a sexy romance that you have to read. You will not be disappointed. Aden Lowe has raised the bar in his series. I've said before and I'll say it again, I can't wait to get my hands on the next book and see where he takes us next.
