Review: Metal & Lace by Lena Black

In the world of Rocker Romances, Metal & Lace by Lena Black not only delivers a story that is unique in its own way, but also gives readers the swoon worthy Gunnar Haze. A character that commands each page, making it easy to see why the rocker and ultimate bad boy is the fantasy of all the women he meets. We first meet Gunnar in the alley of a club as he's having sex with a woman he met earlier that night. While things seem to be going good, it leaves him feel unsatisfied and angry. This happens to be a common occurrence in his life as of late. Even though he is this rock star who has it all, it doesn't appear to be all that it's cracked up to be as of late. Feeling frustrated he decides to read a new review about his bands latest show and it sets him off on a path far different from his own. He meets the beautiful but uptight  writer of the review, Lacey Cummings and is thrown off by her. What happens with the rock star and the music critic is an explosive story of opposites attract. An explosive story that leaves you glued to each page wondering how everything is going to turn out.

Lena Black delivers a sexy, primal, rocker romance that stands out.  You have the uber sexy Gunnar Haze and the strong, fierce Lacey Cummings. Their individual and overlapping story adds a great dynamic to Metal & Lace. The sights, sounds, and settings transport you into every single page of this book, making Metal & Lace one of my favorite books of the year. After Metal & Lace, I'm definitely going to be checking out the rest of the books by the talented Lena Black.

Rating: 5-Stars
