Review: Whiter Than White by G.G. Carver

Synopsis

Life is a rat race, and Elena White is stuck on the treadmill.
She's been living on autopilot, a slave to the 9-5 routine - until a chance meeting with an old school friend serves as the catalyst that changes Elena's life in a way she could never have imagined.

Dazzled by her friends self assured confidence, Elena makes an innocent attempt to break from the monotony, and the repercussions send her on a roller coaster of emotions, smashing predictability to pieces, leaving her life anything but predictable.

Review
If you haven't had the pleasure of reading Whiter Than White by G.G. Carver, you should make it the next book you read. I bought the book on a recommendation from a friend and I couldn't put it down. From the first moment when you meet Elena, you want to know more about her and root for her along the way.  After a chance meeting with a old friend changes her life, she goes on a journey that affects her in many ways.

Along the way she meets Conrad, the attraction this two have is palpable and leaps off the page. The dynamic of Elena and Conrad together, will make them one of your new favorite book couples. After one particular part, you'll never look at yogurt the same way ever again. As they get to know each other they both learn that life isn't easy and everyone has a past or situation that can tear them apart. Will they be able to overcome the past and present obstacles from the outside? You'll just have to read it and see.

The detail in the writing by Carver is one of the main reasons this is a standout story for me. The way he describes the settings and characters transports you into the book. Whiter Than White is a well written story that should be read.  Carver has done an excellent job with his debut novel. I'm looking forward to reading more from him. Go one-click this book today, you won't be disappointed.
