In my interview with Reyes she talks about writing, what inspired her books and how easy it is writing from the male point of view. It's my pleasure to introduce to you Elena M. Reyes, today's Jazzy World of E's Bookshelf Author Spotlight.

Elena M. Reyes' Biography
Elena M. Reyes was born and raised in Miami Florida. She is the epitome of a Floridian and if she could live in her beloved flip-flops, she would.

As a small child, she was always intrigued with all forms of art—whether it was dancing to island rhythms, or painting with any medium she could get her hands on. Her first taste of writing came to her during her fifth grade year when her class was prompted to participate in the D. A. R. E. Program and write an essay on what they’d learned.

Her passion for reading over the years has amassed her with hours of pleasure. It wasn't until she stumbled upon fanfiction that her thirst to write overtook her world. She now resides in Central Florida with her husband and son, spending all her down time letting her creativity flow and letting her characters grow.
An Interview with Elena M. Reyes

You just released your latest book Teasing Hands, what can you tell us about it?

The idea for Teasing Hands began over 2 years ago. It came to me one day, while I was driving past a massage Envy where I live...it was a fantasy. How would a woman react to a gorgeous man manipulating her body to his liking?

Make her feel what no one else has?

It’s a story about a young girl who’s had her heart broken by her high school sweetheart. They were the it couple. The one everyone envied. In her mind there was no other, yet he wanted out...to explore the single life while studying in New York.

Amanda lost a bit of herself then and began to feel as if she weren’t enough. She immersed herself into her college basketball career and forgets about the opposite sex for two years. This is where Camden—her mystery dance partner at a club and massage therapist—comes in.

He shows her that she is beautiful...worthy of his attention. Problem is, that he too comes from a horrible past relationship and is completely against giving anyone his all. Camden pulls her in with one hand and with the other, tosses her aside. Amanda is adamant in not repeating her past mistakes and tells him this. For a moment, we see him accept his fate, but then, like all males, he becomes scared...

Can’t give anything else away, you’ll just have to read the book to find out how this love affair
plays out. ;)

I saw that you are going to release a prequel to the book in December, How many books are you planning to have part of the Teasing Hand series?

Teasing Hands is a stand-alone. Taunting Lips is just a little bonus novella from me, to my awesome readers. We will finally get inside Camden’s head, see through his eyes how his world flipped with just one touch.

In addition to the Teasing Hand Series you also have the Marked Series. What was the inspiration for this story?

Late night TV. LOL

I was home alone one night while my husband worked and began to flip through the channels. It was around 9 p.m. when I stopped at a reality TV show called Best Ink. I was hooked within minutes, and as they inked the canvases flesh, my story took off. I wrote 3,000 words within those two hours before turning back to SOA.

Ardor is a story told from a man’s POV. How is it writing from a male POV?

In a past life I had to have been a man. It’s easier to connect with the male mind because of how simple, their way of seeing the world is. Women are emotional, where men, tend to be more
rational. They’re raw and honest—there’s no preamble or BS. What you see is what you get. I take many of the characteristics I use from my husband and brothers. They are protective and loyal. Love the women in their lives fiercely and live to make us smile. What woman doesn’t love that?

What can you tell us about your current works in progress?

As we speak, I am working on a small novella accompaniment to Teasing Hands that will be titled Taunting Lips. This is Camden’s POV of important parts of the first book we need to see through his eyes. Things that led to the huge ending and weren’t seen in Teasing Hands. There will also be a special bonus chapter at the end with a small sexy twist.

Out of the books you have written, do you have a favorite?

Marking Her hands down. The main couple is so much like me and my husband, it holds a very
special place in my heart.

This question ties into the one above, do you have a favorite character?

Talan Cox, from the Marked Series embodies everything I find sexy in a man. He is dominant in bed, loyal, loving...a bit possessive. He loves his Maya with every fiber of his being, and it’s a
beautiful thing to see come alive as the story progresses.

What has been your favorite part of writing and publishing your books?

Making friends with some of the authors, bloggers, and readers I’ve met over the last year. The bonds I’ve made with some of these ladies, I have no doubt, will last forever.

Who are the authors who have inspired you as a writer?

Stephanie Myers changed my life. It was through her Twilight series that I reclaimed my love for both reading and writing. The fandom is where I flourished as a story teller, and grew enough
balls, to put my own work out there.

They are why I am here, doing something I absolutely love.

I have also been blessed enough to call some amazing authors my best friends. K.I. Lynn, N. Isabelle Blanco, and R.E. Hargrave are incredible. Their ability to sweep you into the emotions of their stories is beautiful. Love those ladies.

In 10 words or less can you tell reader why they should read your books?

My alphas are like no other.

Is there anything you would like to say to your fans and/or readers new to you?

Welcome to my madness. I am not liable for ruined panties.

Teasing Hands

Summary:

The hands kneading my flesh into submission are strong, yet gentle. Rough, yet tender. His
talented fingers dig deep into my naked flesh, applying the perfect amount of pressure, bending
me to his will.

His will that now entices and burns itself into my every pore, ruining me for any other’s touch—
but his. Once a stubborn and independent woman, I find myself wanting to submit; to give him
all that I am and power over everything I can be with his guidance.

Camden Daniels has a voice full of sin built to destroy my mental walls. The dulcet sonnet of his
tone controls my resolve with but a single utterance from his lips: “Undress for me.”
